Mushroom Spice Kit

Role: Designer

Back to the Roots Mushroom Spice Kits will sit in mushrooms section of your local grocery produce aisle and will target a younger audience. This younger audience may enjoy going grocery shopping but get stuck on what to cook and how.

The goal for Back to the Roots mushroom spice kits is to stand out from conventional mushroom packaging and introduce a youthful, fun and bold design that captures a new audience. The copy on the packaging is also interactive, including a suggested recipe paired with ingredient list that can easily be picked up with the mushroom spice kit. 

The current state of mushroom packaging utilizes natural colors such as brown and dark green. Most of this packaging blends together and does not stand out from each other.
